Questions about type C, D, A, electronic vs stamped visa, and border visa for crews.
Type C is a short-stay visa (typically up to 90 days in any 180-day period). Type D is for stays longer than 90 days within 180 days, often a step towards residence permits where applicable.
Type A allows stay in the international transit zone of an Albanian airport when required. Whether you need it depends on nationality and onward flight; check the visa regime for your country.
If your category requires a physical visa sticker, or you prefer collection at an embassy, select the stamped visa path. Long-stay D in some cases is handled through other national portals (e.g. e-Albania).
Border visas target specific groups such as crews of navigation vehicles embarking or re-embarking, with short validity and limited entries as defined in the regulations.
