The e-Visa system allows eligible foreign nationals to apply online for an Albanian visa where this channel is available. It does not replace all categories of visa processing; some cases require direct contact with a diplomatic mission.
Applicants must provide truthful, complete data and genuine documents. False statements or forged documents may lead to refusal, annulment of a visa, and legal consequences under Albanian law.
Visa fees are set by decision of the Council of Ministers. Payment does not guarantee issuance of a visa. Fees are generally not refunded if an application is refused, except where mandatory rules provide otherwise.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs aims to keep the portal available. Scheduled maintenance or force majeure may interrupt access without liability for indirect damages.
